Temporary Visas/ Work Visa and Student Visas

Currently a number of decisions are being made by Immigration New Zealand in regard to these visas. Holders of a work, student, visitor, limited or interim visa with an expiry date between 2 April to 9 July 2020 who were in New Zealand on 2 April 2020 had their visas automatically extended to 25 September 2020. However, no decisions have been made as yet to visa holders who expire after July 9th or what happens after September 25th.

It is important that you keep up to date on changes that will directly impact you. Contact us now to receive regular updates as soon as they become available.

Residency/ Permanent Residence

Currently thousands of people hold Work to Residence visas that may not be able to be converted to Residence from Work due to Covid-19.

Under the Skilled Migrant Category (SMC) we do not know whether conditions or requirements are going to change and if they do change, when that will be. If you are considering lodging residency under the SMC but think you are short of points, contact us right now to see if we can assist.

We believe that due to Covid-19 changes to policy are inevitable so act soon.
